Course Description: Here we GROW again! Let’s dig deeper into Twig Science to gain a better understanding of the program
components including investigations. We will also continue our collaboration with UCLA Science Project to further build our
knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
This course consists of two sessions separated by lunch. Participants will travel to a different site between sessions and are
required to attend both sessions. Paid time for this course is five and one-half hours (5H 30M).
Materials Needed: District Approved Device, a module Teacher’s Edition of your choice, and headphones/earbuds

resources. Putting the resources altogether could make the math block greater than imagined. By our calculations you will
leave this training with sum ideas that will make a difference for you and your students. Let’s work together to solve our

The second half of this session will provide resources and sample strategies to support students in the domain of listening and speaking.
